This was my entry in regards to my junior prom which started off nicely and ended in Hell. Everyone that visits my site seems to get a big kick out of reading about my pain and misery, so I've conveinantly placed it here for you. Enjoy it, while I go into a corner and cry!

*sigh* Don't you just love high school rumors? I know I do! Especially when they revolve around me! Today it seems that I had ulterior motives on prom night, which is why I guess a lot of it sucked for me. The funny thing is that I really do find it quite entertaining, and while I'm not happy by this joke on my name, I find it funny how some people try so hard with something like this and they end up failing because the person they are trying to hurt or offend just really doesn't care.
--UPDATE!
Ok, for those of you wondering what my earlier post was about, here's a more detailed description, now that I have more information. Because I'm nicer than those involved, I'm going to protect their identities by calling them Lucy (my prom date), Ethel (her best friend), and Fred (the rumor spreader).
So anyways, at prom Lucy hung out with Ethel a lot and would rarely acknowledge me. We danced a few times and talked quite a bit, but eventually Lucy and Ethel disappeared, and I rarely would see them. The night progressed, I talked with friends, danced occasionally, etc. At some point, just before prom was over, Lucy approached me and informed me that she was going to stay the night with Ethel and I didn't have to worry about taking her home. This wasn't devastating, but it did kind of suck that I didn't get to take my date home, but hey, less gas for me, so I wasn't too displeased. However, it was unsettling, because it didn't make sense to me that a girl with nothing but a prom dress would spend the night with her friend. I figured she was just bull-crapping me and went home tired and glad that prom was over.
Which brings us to today. I found out today that Fred, the first guy to ask Lucy to prom (and was obviously turned down) has been telling people on his bus (highly composed of my friends and informants) that it was my intent to take Lucy home with me, and my dad had given me the house keys and suggested I have at it. Apparently I also had tried to untie Lucy's dress on the dance floor (yes, right in front of all those people. What WAS I thinking? ha!). And THIS is why Lucy decided to go home with Ethel.
Now, I would like to make it clear that I NEVER intended this and I am sickened that such a thing would be said about me. I do not completely know why I have been the target of an attempted character assassination (I have speculation, but look at what speculation has already done). I just hope that this all gets cleared up and no one thinks down upon ME for these lies. Don't you just looooooooove Mondays?
